Cadets
Cadets meet from September through May on most Monday evenings at the Cadet Shop, from 7:00 – 9 pm.
The goal of the Cadet Program is to encourage and lead boys in grades 4 – 8 to grow spiritually in all areas of life – devotional, mental, physical, and social.
A typical Cadet meeting starts with opening exercises including Bible reading and prayer. The boys then break into their cadres with their counsellors to do further Bible study. The last part of the evening is spent doing a variety of badges, or small projects designed by the counsellors. Each year we participate in the annual Snow Derby in February and the Cadet-A-Ree in April with other Canadian and United Reformed Churches that form the Berean Cadet Council.
Send a message to our Head Counsellor if you would like more details regarding our Cadets or check out our page on Berean Council website here.
Kingdom Seekers
Kingdom Seekers usually meet from September through May on most Friday evenings at the church, from 7:00 – 9:00pm.
Girls in grades 4 – 8 are excited to be part of our Kindgdom Seekers Program. They enjoy great fellowship as they learn how to serve God and His people through His Word. The girls earn badges that are geared to daily activities such as God’s world in nature, Bible study, baking, caring for others, and much more. They also look forward to special events such as Bowling, a Father/Daughter Evening, a Mother/Daughter Evening, and much more.
Send a message to our Head Counsellor if you would like more details regarding our Kingdom Seekers.
